Paper Making

Last weekend our art group made paper out of recycled junk mail. So this morning I carved a linoleum block and printed on it. Some of them turned out well, but I need to work on getting the paper smoother, less texture. All in all, a fun experience. Here is a photo of the print on a sheet of handmade paper.

So it's been some time since I've posted here. Maybe not so much an impossibility, but that is this week's Illustration Friday theme. So here is my "Impossibility". Maybe impossible, but a pretty good day dream!

Barefoot show pics.

Here are a few pictures from my show at Barefoot Coffee in Santa Clara. Thanks Lisa and Sarah for coming out! It's up all of April, so after you get your taxes done, go have a nice relaxing, tasty cup of espresso.

Art Show in April

Come on by if you're in the area. Here is Barefoot Coffee Roasters website. Here is a map to the coffee shop. I'll have lots of little original paintings, as well as some medium size stuff and some felt ornaments.

This place has some super awesome coffee as well. Really funky cafe. Artists reception this Saturday from 8-10 pm (I'll probably be there earlier).
